Bicycle Tour led by me in Cuba in Winter 2003. This is my fourth time in Cuba . I went to places I did before and also Veradero beach, Sancti Spirutus, Santo Domingo, Topo de las Callantes, Trinidad Castilda and Colon. Note, you have to scroll down to see the pictures at the bottom. Some of the captions are quite long. Thank you!

Today I wrote postcards, went to the beach (great swim and ate coconuts fresh!) and packed up the bicycle and helped the others pack theirs. Yesterday when we left Habana and Senor Morales I was a bit sad. Senor Morales is such a sweet man. He was so kind to us and so warm and loving to his son Francisco the string physicist. He showed me more pictures of his son and his Italian wife Nadia, a mathematician. Senor Morales also asked me to send an email to his second wife who is living in Florida and let her know that he is all ok. When I go back to Europe again I will visit Francisco and Nadia in Rome. So that's it! Cuba my fourth time and the first time for the others. It was a really good experience. The only thing I would like to change is to get Cuba to switch from that stinky diesel high sulfur fuel to ethyl alcohol like Brazil had for 45 years. Then this country would truly be an ecotopia! It was great to be able to do 'Topo de los Collantes' a second time, see that little school again and the school teacher in the mountains!THE END !!! El Fin!!
