These are some pictures from my most recent local trip in May 2022 to Mackinac Island in Michigan Tour wih my college friend Daniel on the Rail Trails. This is my third year in a row doing it. I decided to make a photo journal this time.

Only Horses, bikes, wheel chairs. No cars allowed ever. Resolution passed in 1898 forbidding them. Why can't we do that everywhere? We can keep the trains, but do we really need cars??? Even electric ones use up a lot of resources. The last place I saw this many horses was in Cuba. Ever since the Soviet Union ended the fossil fuel was too expensive for them. Only the tourists have cars. You can go on the highway with a bike for one hour and see maybe one or two cars in both directions. You will see many horses, bikes, mules and ox carts. The average cuban lost 30 pounds in tow years when this happened. 95 percent of the vehicles there are bikes!

I will have future pics here for more travelogues in the future.
