Here you see Sankt Valentin, a Gaststatte (Guest house) with a great outdoor cafe, established originally by a monk in the 1500's. It is frequented by tons of hikers and mountain bikers. You can even drive and then walk half a km to it. You see these crosses, all over Freiburg going back to the early middle ages. Lastly, this is Herrn Wilhelm Disch, the proprietor of Hotel zum Loewen, where I always stay in Freiburg. He takes great care of me.
