Goat carts are very much used here. Economically Cuba is poor by GDP western standards, but the health of the people is excellent and they have a much lower carbon footprint than us. Where else can you go with your bike on the highway and see maybe one car in an hour in each direction. You will see plenty of bicycles, horses and goats.
